Illuminated manuscripts as platformers, fractal pancakes and other curiosities

It’s been a busy week, and my brain is kaput. So instead have some interesting links:

Carl Pyrdum compares the representation of gravity in Mario and medieval illustrations.

That post was via Thomas L. MacDonald, who recently posted an essay on Saint Augustine’s “witness doctrine” regarding the Jews.

This fellow made some fractal pancakes. Via Unequally Yoked.

The future will be more religious…because religious people actually have babies! Funny how that works.

Via First Thoughts, which is currently talking about Vampires and the Eucharist.
